Established in 2011, and named after the Patriarch, Arthur Lane Strahan the first, the rolling wooded 95-acres of land that comprises Lane Ranch, is situated in northwestern Harrison County, Hallsville, TX. There are nature trails through the vineyard and forest, carefully prepared to encourage people to walk and explore, stop and breathe, meditate and pray.
Our love for gardening is evident on the ranch and we enjoy bringing the bounty of our sustainable crops to our guests.
The vineyard and surrounding grounds on the ranch are being slowly and carefully developed with the couple’s signature – love & grace.
VINEYARD
Spanning 7 acres and planted over several years, the vineyard comprises mostly Muscadine vines. There is a small block where we are growing Black Spanish and Blanc du Bois. “It’s beautiful to see the rich symbolism of the vines and the vineyard, which brings to mind how this simple plant became one of the most clear and powerful analogies of God’s love that we know,” Art shares, referring to John 15:5. Adriana says, “our vision for this place is for it to be more than just a place for people to visit, but rather a place to find peace and make memories.”

Our Muscadines
The Muscadine grape, native to the southeastern United States, is renowned for its robust flavor, high antioxidant content, and potential health benefits. Its thick skins and unique taste make it ideal for winemaking, juices, and jellies. Popular varieties include Carlos, Noble, Black Beauty, Sweet Jenny, Dixie Red, Tara and more. Muscadine offers distinct flavors, colors, and adaptability to the harsh East Texas climates and growing conditions. Muscadine grapes continue to be cherished for their versatility, resilience, and contribution to the agricultural heritage of the region.
